Redmi Buds 6 Active launched in select global markets on Thursday. The true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones come with a charging case with a transparent cover and a USB Type-C port for charging. They feature a semi-in-ear design and an IPX4 splash-proof rating. The wireless earphones are equipped with 14.2mm dynamic drivers and support dual-microphone noise-canceling technology. The TWS earphones, when paired with the charging case, are said to offer a total battery life of up to 30 hours.

The Redmi Buds 6 Active is priced at MYR 69 (roughly Rs 1,300) and can be purchased from the Xiaomi Malaysia website. The earphones are also listed on the Xiaomi Global website and are listed on Ali Express for $14.90 (roughly Rs 1,300). They are available in four colour options – Black, Blue, Pink, and White.

The Redmi Buds 6 Active has a semi-in-ear design and is equipped with 14.2mm dynamic drivers. The headset offers dual-microphone noise cancellation that supposedly provides better call quality. It has five pre-set equalization modes — Standard, Boosted Treble, Boosted Bass, Boosted Voice, and Boosted Loudness.
The recently launched TWS headset is compatible with the Xiaomi Earbuds app. It supports fast pairing and immersive surround sound. You get support for Bluetooth 5.4 devices, along with 90ms low latency mode. The headphones are IPX4 splash-proof.
The Redmi Buds 6 Active is said to offer a total battery life of up to 30 hours on a single charge, while the earphones are said to offer up to six hours of playback time. The earphones have 37mAh batteries each, while the charging case has a 475mAh battery and comes with a USB Type-C port.
Users can touch and hold the earphones to access the paired headset on the paired smartphone. Each earphone measures 32 x 17.8 x 18.5 mm and weighs 4 g. Meanwhile, the charging case measures 49 x 48.6 x 23 mm and weighs 36 g with the earphones.
