New Delhi:
Sharvari Wagh is currently enjoying the success of Vedaa. His performances were much loved by fans and critics alike. Now, the actor revealed in an interview with Galatta Plus that he was auditioning for director Luv Ranjan’s 2015 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. Sharvari was 17 at the time. Elaborating on the subject, the actor said, “That film was an adult film, so Luv Ranjan said, ‘I didn’t think you were suitable and I didn’t know you were this age.'” He really liked the audition and I remember asking him, “I never been in a movie so I can help” and he replied sure.” Luv Ranjan then appointed the Vedaa star as a director’s assistant (DA).
“I shadowed Luv Siri through this whole process, every single day, from schedules to music. I used to be with my book trying to figure things out, and then when we went on set, I became the clap AD. That’s when I realized that the Clap AD job is the best for an actor because you get to to be between the director and the actor. And that’s the only time you’ll hear a director come to an actor and they say maybe adjust this line, maybe change this emotion and the only person who can hear it is Clap AD,” he added.
Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 Starring Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh, Omkar Kapoor and Nushrratt Bharuccha.
Later, Sharvari Wagh also took on the role of assistant director in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani and Luv Ranjan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
The movie coming to Vedaa also stars John Abraham in the lead role. Premiering on Independence Day (August 15), it locked horns with Amar Kaushik’s Street 2 and Mudassar Aziz’s Khel Khel Mein.
