From next Saturday, September 28th to Sunday, October 27th, the Osthalle on Sankt-Josefs-Platz will be closed for public swimming. The operator announced this on the pool’s website. The closure of the pool is due to two events: next weekend, September 28th/29th, the Aachen 06 Swimming Club hosts the 40th Euregio Swimming in the East Hall, and the 54th International Swimming Festival will take place from October 25th to 27th.
Making children fit for water
On the other hand, there is ongoing construction work in the swimming pool: the diving tower will be renovated between the two events. From Monday, October 28, the East Hall will be open again as usual. The school swimming pool in the teaching pool is not affected by this closure. More information at: www.osthalle.de/
