“In view of the tragedy that has happened to many people and out of concern for their safety We have decided to change the dates and locations of the Must Be the Music auditions, which were to take place on Sunday, September 22, in Wrocław, and on Monday, September 23, in Katowice. Our hearts go out to all those affected by the flooding and their loved ones,” Polsat and the programme’s production team said in a statement.

“Must Be the Music” is Polsat’s main program

The “Must be the music” program, based on a British license, is produced for Polsat by Endemol Shine Polska. The talent show, broadcast in the years 2011-2016, was extremely popular and had its 11th edition, which over the years was hosted by stars and bands such as: Enej, LemOn, Dawid Kwiatkowski, Kortez and Kaśka Sochacka.

The strength of the show was undoubtedly its judges: Adam Sztaba, Elżbieta Zapendowska and Kora, who passed away in 2018. In the first six editions, Wojciech Łozowski also appeared on the jury panel, but was later replaced by Piotr Rogucki. Tymon Tymański appeared in the last edition.

Pre-casting of the new edition of the programme began in early September in six Polish cities (still without the participation of the jury).
