The August United Surveys for Wirtualna Polska shows that support for the Civic Coalition is still the highest (34.6%), but Law and Justice, which is in second place, saw the biggest increase – up to 4.1 percentage points (32.4%).
The latest United Surveys poll on support for political parties shows that if the Sejm elections were held next Sunday, 36.4 percent of people would “definitely” take part in them. respondents, and “quite yes” – 17.7 percent. 26.3 percent of respondents would “probably not” take part in the elections. respondents and “definitely not” – 14 percent. The answer “I don’t know/it’s hard to say” was chosen by 5.6 percent. people.
Respondents were asked which party they would vote for in the Sejm elections. The Civic Coalition was chosen by 34.6 percent – which, as WP notes, represents an increase of 1.6 percentage points compared to the last United Surveys poll conducted at the end of July.
A big increase in support for PiS
Law and Justice would again come in second place, this time with 32.4 percent. WP emphasized that in the case of this party there was a large increase in support compared to the last poll, up to 4.1 percentage points.
Third place would go to Trzecia Droga, which would have 9.7% of votes (a decrease of 1.2 percentage points).
Although the Confederation recorded a decrease of 1 percentage point compared to the previous survey, obtaining 8.6 percent, this time it would surpass the Left – which received 8 percent. votes from those interviewed. As noted, in the previous study the Left with a result of 1.9 percentage points. higher education was in fourth place, ahead of the Confederation.
The option “other” was chosen by 1.3 percent of respondents, and the answer “I don’t know/it’s hard to say” was chosen by 5.4 percent of respondents.
The survey was conducted from August 30 to September 1, 2024 using the CAWI/CATI method on a group of 1,000 people.
