Poczta Polska CEO Sebastian Mikosz presented the company’s transformation plan. The plan includes: optimizing employment, i.e. voluntary redundancies, which will affect around 9,000 employees, changes in the IT area, as well as improving the quality of postal services.

At Wednesday’s press conference, Poczta Polska President Sebastian Mikosz announced that the voluntary departure plan will cover approximately 9,000 employees. He announced that will start later this year.

He assured that the program will not be aimed at postmen or people employed in the post office.

The President of Poczta Polska said that the voluntary departure program will cost PLN 600 million. This is a cost we can afford – he said, adding that would be distributed over a year.

Mikosz also reported that the company plans to invest approximately PLN 500 million in IT in three yearsand investments in the facilities themselves will be determined after a complete inventory has been carried out.

He added at the same time that over three years, the total investment is estimated at several billion zlotys.

Mikosz also reported that using the network of parcel machines, a partnership with Orlen is possible.
