The website of the Polish Congress of Entrepreneurship contains information about media sponsorship, including the “Entrepreneurship Forum”, a special supplement to “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” (Infor PL).
The conference is being organized by the Polish Entrepreneurship Agency, a private company that focuses on “image building through national media,” as it describes on its website. The agency prides itself on offering clients “a promotion in a national opinion-forming daily.” The Polish Entrepreneurship Congress will be held in Krakow in the fall, and participants will be asked to develop “ideas to support entrepreneurs, scientific communities and local governments.”

“Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” distances itself from the Polish Congress of Entrepreneurship
The Polish Entrepreneurship Agency lists “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” among the media sponsors of the Polish Entrepreneurship Congress. The problem, however, is that the influential publication has issued an official denial about this alleged cooperation.
“We would like to inform you that the information appears to be Dziennik Gazeta Prawna would be the media sponsor of the 11th Polish Entrepreneurship Congress organized by the Polish Entrepreneurship Agency Sp. z oo on November 13-14, 2024, are false– Infor stated at the end of July. In addition to denying the information on its website, the publisher demands that the name “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” be removed from the website of the Polish Business Agency event. Lawyers were involved in the case.
– In order to remove false information, we regularly tried to contact the Polish Enterprise Agency, including by phone, email and registered letter. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we did not receive the expected response or reaction, which forced us to take further action – reports Marzena Nikiel, member of the board of directors of Infor PL, to the Wirtualnemedia.pl portal.
Mariusz Zarzycki, head of sales department at Infor, tells us that the publisher has not cooperated with the Polish Enterprise Agency since the end of 2019. – Since then, our law firm has sent several letters to the company asking them to remove false information about DGP’s media sponsorship of Congress from their website. We then notified the prosecutor’s office about the case, but the prosecutor’s office refused to initiate proceedings under the provisions on the prohibition of combating unfair competition (Article 17, paragraph 1) – explains in a comment for Wirtualnemedia.pl
The representative of the DGP publishing house announced that they will fight to remove false information “until the end”. – Our goal is to remove false information from the agency’s website and to secure our reputation as a reliable source of information – comments Marzena Nikiel.
Mariusz Zarzycki adds: – This is a big problem for us, because clients who collaborate with us ask us if it is true that we are sponsors of this event? Then we have to clarify and say that we are not its organizer and have nothing to do with it. Our readers are also deceived. We continue fighting because our good name is being tarnished.
It turns out that Infor PL is not the only one correcting false information about alleged cooperation with the Polish Enterprise Agency. The ICE Kraków Congress Center, listed on the organizer’s website as the venue for the event, denies the announcement.
“We inform you that the information about the organization of the 11th Polish Entrepreneurship Congress at the ICE Kraków Congress Center on November 13-14, 2024 is false. ICE Kraków is not the host of this event,” we read on the ICE Kraków website.
