In addition, in the period from June 13 to September 9 of this year. officers of the Podlasie Border Guard Unit throughout the unit they detained a total of 71 messengers.

Scope of the buffer zone

The zone is prohibited, as beforecovers the entire length of the border at a distance of 60.67 km, located within the territorial area of the Border Guard Posts in Narewka, Białowieża, Dubicze Cerkiewne and Czeremcha. On a 44.55 km stretch, the prohibited area is 200 m from the state border. However, on the 16.12 km stretch located in the area of nature reserves, the zone will be wider and will be approximately 2 km.
