Portugal’s Public Security Police (PSP) are investigating the disappearance of Natalie, a 38-year-old Brazilian nurse, who disappeared while having lunch at a restaurant in the Cacilhas area, in Almada, last Saturday (21). Information from the UOL portal.

Natalie was celebrating her father’s 69th birthday at a restaurant on the banks of the Tagus River. After visiting the famous Cristo Rei monument, the two of them went to the restaurant for lunch. About half an hour after they arrived, Natalie got up to go to the bathroom and never returned.

Missing Details

Natalie’s father, who had his back to the exit, noticed his daughter’s delay and called the restaurant staff to ask if anyone had seen her. “She said she went to the bathroom and didn’t come back,” the restaurant owner told UOL. After an initial unsuccessful search, the police were called. Natalie left her backpack, documents and cell phone at the scene, adding to the mystery surrounding her disappearance.

Ongoing Investigation

The PSP conducted an intensive search of the area, including the banks of the Tagus River, but so far have not found any clues to Natalie’s whereabouts. Her father, a retired Brazilian military officer, provided police with more information to help the search. They both live in Coimbra, where Natalie works at a private hospital.
