Police Chief Commander Marek Boroń will leave the hospital in Katowice today. He arrived there on Saturday after an accident on the A1 motorway while traveling to Lower Silesia. His car overturned.

As RMF FM reporter Krzysztof Zasada discovered, the police chief has a rib injury. However, it is not a broken rib, just bruising or cracking.
It is also known that its driver and the person traveling with him have less serious injuries.
The accident occurred on Saturday, around 6 pm. The car skidded and overturned during heavy rain and strong winds.
Our journalist found that after the accident everyone in the car was conscious. Their sobriety was tested. The results showed no alcohol in anyone.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
The case is now being investigated by the Tarnowskie Góry Prosecutor’s Office. For now, it is not known how this event will be treated – whether as a collision or an accident. It depends on how doctors assess the victims’ injuries.
