A few days ago, a report emerged claiming that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 FE would be €100 more expensive than its predecessor in Europe. Today, we have a new rumor from a different source, saying that while there will be a price increase compared to the S23 FE, it won’t be as big.
Instead of €799 for the 8/128GB version, the price has dropped to €749. That’s still €50 more than the launch price of the 8/128GB S23 FE, but perhaps a smaller price increase would have been more acceptable?
The 8/256GB version of the S24 FE now also has a rumored price tag of €809. This leak also mentions four color versions of the phone: Graphite, Mint, Yellow, and Blue – all of which can be seen side by side in the leak above.
To reiterate what we said last time, the Galaxy S24+ currently costs around €800 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the Galaxy S24 costs around €600. Given these prices, if the rumors about the S24 FE are true, we wonder who will decide to buy the FE over the S24 or S24+, and why.
On the other hand, just as the S24 and S24+ have dropped in price over the past few months, the FE will surely drop in price as well, so February-March could turn out to be a really good deal.
