On Friday, September 27, the Sejm passed the Cash PIT Law. He rejected the opposition’s amendment, but previously agreed that the income limit for the new settlement method would be expressed in Polish zlotys. Instead of 250 thousand euros it will become PLN 1 million.
Let us remind you that currently entrepreneurs have to pay taxes after obtaining the so-called accrued income. This also applies when they have not received payment from the contractor. All they need to do is provide a service or sell goods. In turn, they settle the costs based on the invoice, even though they haven’t paid for it. This is what is called the accrual method.
