Next Monday (21), the Piscinão de Ramos, located in the northern area of Rio, will undergo a maintenance service in preparation for the summer. The pool will be emptied so that the bottom can be cleaned and preventive maintenance can be carried out on the equipment.
“This is a routine service that we perform every year and we will leave the Piscinão de Ramos ready for the summer. Pond cleaning and equipment maintenance are important to maintaining water quality. We will start emptying the Piscinão this Monday,” explained Fundação Rio-Águas president Wanderson Santos.
Maintenance services are scheduled to be performed annually. Fundação Rio-Águas, in partnership with concessionaire Águas do Rio, is responsible for the site’s water treatment. The work also has the support of Comlurb. The renovation is expected to be completed in the second half of November.
“The annual maintenance of the Piscinão de Ramos is an essential and necessary service to prepare everything for the residents of the North Zone and tourists to enjoy the summer. Today, Piscinão represents an identity for the region, a place for recreation and entertainment,” emphasized the Deputy Mayor of the North Zone, Luis Miranda.
