Pete Rose, the all-time Major League Baseball leader who was banned from the Hall of Fame after he was caught gambling at baseball games, has died at age 83, ABC News and TMZ reported Monday.

TMZ attributed the news to Rose’s agent, while ABC News cited the Clark County, Nevada, medical examiner.
