Who is eligible for redemption benefits? [KRYTERIA]
The redemption benefit is targeted at a specific group retired. To receive them, you must meet the following conditions:
- Being a former firefighter of the Volunteer Fire Department (OSP) or mountain rescuer.
- Men must document at least 25 years of active participation in rescue and firefighting operations.
- Women must demonstrate 20 years of active service.
Additionally, this benefit is available to women over 60 and men over 65. The condition is active participation in rescue operations for an appropriate period.
How to get rescue subsidy?

- The request must be submitted to the district or municipal commander of the State Fire Department.

How much is the redemption allowance in 2024? [KWOTA]
As of March 1, 2024, according to the Law, the redemption benefit for retirees has been indexed and currently amounts to PLN 258 per monththat gives annually PLN 3,096.
