The whole story begins at the end of June 2024. Then Paulina Matysiak announced that, together with PiS MP Marcin Horała, they started to create the Yes dla Rozwoju association, which is a platform for cooperation between people who care about the development of the country through investments such as CPK or energy nuclear. The response of the Left party and the Razem Party (of which Matysiak has been a member since 2017) was surprising to say the least: Razem initiated disciplinary proceedings against the MP from Kutno – which are still unresolved – and the management suspended him from party member rights, and the Left club suspended him from member rights club. Publicly, Left politicians issued an ultimatum: Yes to Development, or Matysiak’s future at the club and his parent party. Three months have passed and the Left has not been able to resolve the situation. Matysiak is caught in political uncertainty. Razem – who was far from the New Left – behaved like a New Left politician, who was very close to the Platform. There are many surprises in this story.
