Former Iron Maiden singer Paul Di’Anno has died aged 66. In a statement, Conquest Music, the artist’s producer, said he died at his home in Salisbury, England. The cause of death has not been disclosed.

“On behalf of your family, Conquest Music [selo de metal] regrets to confirm the death of Paul Andrews, professionally known as Paul Di’Ano. Paul died at his home in Salisbury at the age of 66,” said the statement released to the international press.

Paul recorded his first album with Iron Maiden in 1980. He left the band shortly after, after concerts were canceled due to the singer’s involvement in drugs and alcohol. After leaving Iron Maiden, Paul formed his own band called Di’Anno. He was also a member of the bands Battlezone, Killers and Rockfellas.
