Paszyk announces the introduction of the naStart home loan

The final version of the law on housing loans from Start is expected to be ready in August, according to a statement by the Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Paszyk. The Minister of Tourism and Tourism added that the idea of introducing a tax on vacant buildings should be considered.

Paszyk told TVP Info that work is still underway on a new form of support for purchasing an apartment. According to him, it will be possible to see the entire proposal that the Ministry of Development and Technology is working on in a few days.

The Minister said that the new regulations will include solutions aimed, among others, at people who are unable to buy an apartment or who are looking for a new place in social housing.

When asked when the final version of the project would be ready, he replied that “it is a matter of August and it will be shown”.

The head of the Ministry of Development and Technology was also asked whether “there will be a tax on vacant buildings”.

In my opinion, this is still a solution we should consider.

– replied Paszyk.

As previously announced, the new #naStart home loan will replace the 2% Secured Loan and a Family Home Loan, which combines financial support in the form of instalment grants.

According to the original proposal, the condition for obtaining subsidies under the project will be compliance with the income criterion, which is based on the first tax threshold, i.e. an annual income of PLN 120,000 gross. In the program, the criterion is to be modified as the number of household members increases. Exceeding the thresholds, however, will not mean exclusion from the program – borrowers whose families exceed the threshold will also be able to receive a new loan, but in their case the subsidy will be reduced.

People without children will receive an installment subsidy with an interest rate of 1.5%. Families with one child – 1 percent, with two children 0.5 percent and with three or more children – 0 percent. The #naStart loan will be granted for a minimum period of 15 years, with a fixed interest rate set for 60 months.

The proposal drawn up by the ministry was criticized, among others: by Poland 2050 and the Left.
