So far, Polish representatives have won nine medals. On the last day of the Games, none of the participating white and red athletes were expected to climb onto the Olympic podium. Two marathon runners, Aleksandra Lisowska and Angelika Mach, will start in the morning. This will be the last athletics competition of the Paris Games.
Before noon, the track cycling competition will start in Yvelines, near Paris. Two Polish competitors will take part in the competition. Daria Pikulik will compete in the individual all-around (omnium) and Mateusz Rudyk will compete in the quarter-finals. They are not the favorites. Success will be marked in places.

Rudyk performed very well in his final sprint competition, in which he finished fifth. Pikulik and his sister Wiktoria started in the Madison. They finished seventh. “I did the best I could,” Rudyk said on Eurosport. He complained, like Pikulik, about the poor organizational conditions of Polish cycling.
The closing ceremony of the games will take place late in the evening. It will be directed by Thomas Jolly, the same man who prepared the opening of the Seine. The final chord of the Games will take place at the Stade de France. French media reports that one of the heroes of the ceremony will be American actor Tom Cruise. The ceremony is expected to feature a lot of American accents due to the fact that the next summer games in 2028 will be held in Los Angeles.
