As we reported on Wirtualnemedia.pl, The TVP Info channel will soon move to a new studio. It will occupy the current “Pytanie na breakfast” space in the main TVP building on ul. Woronicza – the renovation is still ongoing. According to our latest unofficial information, the move is scheduled to take place in September this year. We previously indicated that the renovation could be completed by September 9, but this did not happen. TVP Info has not yet changed the graphic design, which was also announced.
Despite the lack of such changes, the new broadcasting schedule will come into effect from Monday, September 9. Between 7:30 and 8:15 a new news channel “Polska o poranku” will be broadcast, reporting on events in the regions (produced in cooperation with local TVP branches). Its host on Monday was Wojciech Zawioła.
Joanna Dunikowska-Paź presented “2.30”
The biggest change, however, is the emergence of programs “2:30 p.m.” and ““Polish flowers”. The first is broadcast at the time indicated in the program name and is presented by journalists from TVP1’s “19:30” team. The website has a design that refers to the TVP1 evening news program, and the opening credits are the same. The first “14:30” edition featured various materials and a live link, a it was led by Joanna Dunikowska-Paź. “14:30” replaced the classic news service.
Another new feature is the journalistic and satirical program “Polish Flowers” by Katarzyna Kasia and Grzegorz Markowski, who came from TVN24, where they appeared in “Contact Glass”. According to our information, Dominika Sitnicka from Oko.press will also be one of the presenters of “Kwiatki polskie”, but in the first week of operation the program will be hosted only by Kasia and Markowski. In the first episode, in addition to commenting on the events, Szymon Hołownia was also a guest. Previously, “The Day Has Passed” was shown in the 9 pm time slot.

Changing the broadcast time of “Panorama”
The change also affected “Panorama”. As of September 2nd this year, the program can only be watched on TVP Info, having disappeared from TVP2. Until now, it was broadcast by TVP Info once a day at 10pm.
From September 9th, the service will also be broadcast in an abbreviated version at 6:00 p.m. during the break of “Kontrapunkt”. On Monday, this edition was presented by Piotr Jędrzejek, who also hosted the edition that started at 9:45 p.m., a quarter of an hour earlier than before. TVP’s press office confirmed to us that this is the new broadcast time for “Panorama”.
TVP Info sees huge drop in audience
After the December hiatus in broadcasting and the replacement of the program’s journalists, TVP Info has been recording significant drops in audience ratings. In August this year its share was 1.24 percent, a year earlier it was 5.21 percent. TVN24 remained the most popular news channel with a 5.65% share. TV Republika came in second after a massive increase.
