Chihuahua.- The National Action Party is able to absorb the political cost of increasing public transport and any other adjustment that benefits citizens.
This was indicated by the coordinator of the PAN deputies in the State Congress, Alfredo Chávez, when asked if, given the political, social and economic conditions of the state, it would be time to increase public transport, as the concessionaire groups insist.
As for whether or not an increase in transport would be appropriate, he said that would be a decision to be made by the General Secretariat of the Government, chaired by Santiago de la Peña, who would soon be called to appear by Committee on Works, Public Services and Development and Urban Mobility, chaired by PAN member Jocelice Vega.
The increase in transport is an important topic in public opinion, as the concessionaires demand an adjustment, although without clarity about the amounts or the targets of the specific benefits for citizens.
