OnePlus Ace 5, Ace 5 Pro specs leak

We’ve previously heard that the OnePlus Ace 5 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, an improved version of the Ace 3 that came with the 8 Gen 2. If you’re wondering where the Ace 4 went, it never existed due to tetraphobia.

Today, Digital Chat Station confirms the 8 Gen 3 choice for the vanilla model, revealing that the Ace 5 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Both models will have at least 6,000mAh batteries, flat metal frames, optical fingerprint sensors, and a high-spec 8T LTPO “1.5K” OLED screen manufactured by BOE.

They will have a 50MP main rear camera and two secondary cameras, but will not have a periscopic telephoto lens (which for now seems to be exclusive to a numbered series of flagship models).

While the Ace 5 Pro will most likely be limited to the Chinese market for its entire lifespan, it is very likely that the Ace 5 will be renamed the OnePlus 13R for the international market and launched alongside the OnePlus 13, as the Ace 3 was sold outside of China under the 12R name.
