Mexico City.- Writer Paco Ignacio Taibo II reports that he is working with the team of the president-elect, Claudia Sheinbaum, on a new structure for the morning session.

The head of the Economic Culture Fund was interviewed at the State Palace, where he held a working meeting regarding the format of the press conference that Morenista will hold, from Monday to Friday, at 07.00.

“We are preparing the new structure for the morning,” he reported. Will the format change?

“I don’t know, we’ll see,” he replied.

What adjustments can be made in the morning? “Ask a doctor,” he blurted out. Last August, Sheinbaum reported that morning conferences would resume, at the same time and format as President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s conferences. The future president announced that a press conference would be held at the National Palace, at the end of the Security Cabinet meeting, which would take place at 6:00 am. The decision was taken after conducting a survey in which 33 percent of respondents supported the continuation of morning exercise. Next Monday, López Obrador will take office on the final morning of his six-year term, after more than 1,400 conferences.
