On Sunday evening, Marcin Ryłko, spokesman for the municipality of Jelenia Góra, told PAP that the water level of the Bóbr River in the city is at a record high, which is why it not only exceeds the alarm level, but also overflows the flood dike.

He also said that the situation in the center of Jelenia Góra is also very difficult, where entire areas of the city center are already flooded from Podwale, through the Robotnicze housing estate towards Grunwaldzka Street.
Not only the Bóbr River, but also the Młynówka River are flooding us and the situation is getting worse. The water level in the streets is rising. Unfortunately, water is being discharged from overflowing retention reservoirs and this causes our city to be flooded.
