Green sticker pattern
According to the new regulations, the green sticker on the car must contain the following information: fuel type, vehicle registration number, year of production, name of the municipality that establishes the SCT and the marking “SCT”. The sticker will be in the shape of a circle measuring 80 x 80 mm and will be made of material that is resistant to sunlight, water and chemicals. It is important to note that its validity will be five years from the date the new model comes into effect.
The Ministry stresses that the simplified appearance of the sticker aims not only to facilitate its preparation and printing, but also to speed up the process of processing applications for its issuance. The changes that will come into force on September 12 will also result in a reduction in the cost of issuing the sticker, which, according to the E-Mobility Act, cannot exceed PLN 5.
The ministry assures capital drivers that stickers issued before the regulation came into force (i.e. September 10, 2024) remain valid for 5 years.
