On Tuesday and Wednesday (August 20-21) at 9pm, Canal+ will broadcast the Champions League fourth qualifying round matches. The broadcasts will be available on new channels dedicated to Europe’s most elite football competitions: CANAL+ EXTRA1, CANAL+ EXTRA2, CANAL+ EXTRA3 and CANAL+ EXTRA4. These channels will be launched on Tuesday and the first tests were carried out at the end of July.

– Additional event channels CANAL+ EXTRA 5, CANAL+ EXTRA 6 and CANAL+ EXTRA 7 will be launched during matches. In the case of Champions League fourth qualifying round games, there is no such need. – Piotr Kaniowski from the C+ press office told Wirtualnemedia.pl. The remaining three channels will probably appear in the second half of September this year, when the Champions League group stage starts.

As we recently reported, Vectra, as part of its agreement with Canal+, will guarantee its customers access to channels featuring UEFA Champions League matches. This is yet another operator that has signed an agreement with the broadcaster regarding popular competitions.
