Killed in Jordan border attack
According to Israeli reports, there was an attack on the border between the Israeli-occupied West Bank and Jordan. The Israeli military reported a firefight this morning near the Allenby border crossing. Agencies unanimously reported that three Israeli civilians were killed. The attacker was killed by security forces. Israeli rescue service Magen David Adom initially said that two people were being treated for serious injuries.

Hezbollah shells northern Israeli town
The Islamic Lebanese Hezbollah militia said it had fired numerous rockets into the northern Israeli town of Kirjat Shmona, in response to an Israeli attack Saturday that killed three rescue workers in southern Lebanon, the Iran-backed militia said.
The Lebanese Health Ministry earlier said three civil defense personnel were killed and two wounded in the attack, as they were extinguishing a fire caused by Israeli airstrikes. The ministry condemned “this blatant Israeli attack targeting a team of the Lebanese state’s official institutions.” Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati also condemned the attack.
The Amal Movement, which is allied with Hezbollah, said two of its members were among the dead.
