Actor Michael Madsen has filed for divorce from his estranged wife DeAnna, claiming he has been a victim of her abuse for years.
The 65-year-old Reservoir Dogs star tied the knot with DeAnna, 64, in 1996 and they have three children – Kalvin, 27, Luke, 18, and Hudson, who took his own life aged just 26 in January 2022 while in Hawaii. US Army.

He claimed in his plea that he believed DeAnna’s “neglect, drinking and alcoholism” contributed to Hudson’s taking her life.
In the petition, Madsen also applies for a domestic violence restraining order against his estranged wife.
The actor was arrested at his home in Malibu, California after he allegedly “pushed” his wife and locked her out of their home.
He was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence but was released on $20,000 bail.
His attorney, Perry Wander, argued that his client “was not guilty of domestic violence.”
He also accused DeAnna of “breaking into” Madsen’s home on Sunday when the alleged incident took place.
“She confronted him and asked him to leave,” Wander said, claiming this “has been an ongoing issue.”
“Michael has shown tremendous compassion and restraint during this time for his estranged wife. He is certainly not guilty of domestic violence,” Wander concluded.
In response, DeAnna released her own statement, claiming her estranged spouse is “struggling with personal issues.”

Just a few weeks later, the Los Angeles District Attorney dismissed Madsen’s case for “insufficient evidence.”
