More than a dozen loud explosions were heard on Monday morning in the Ukrainian capital Kiev, which was attacked by Russia with cruise and ballistic missiles. Fragments of downed rockets fell in several neighborhoods. There were reports of fires. Russian troops fired missiles at a mosque in the Nyvki district of Kiev, Crimean Tatar leader Refat Chubarov said. The temple was badly damaged, but no one was injured.

The Russian attack damaged the glass elements of the entrance to the Sviatoshyn metro station. Four cars caught fire in the neighborhood of the same name; debris also fell on agricultural buildings
