Method
Make this delicious recipe by preheating the oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4.
Peel and core the apples before slicing them into thin slices. Place the apple slices in a baking dish with the juice, sugar and six tablespoons of water.
Bring this to the boil before putting in the oven and cook for 20 minutes until the apple is tender – but not mushy.
Place the flour, sugar, oats, walnuts and seeds in a bowl and rub in the butter until it starts to form small lumps and everything is combined.
Spread the mixture on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. When it’s ready, break it up with a wooden spoon.
