Maria Bethânia and Alaíde Costa pay tribute to Dalva de Oliveira in an emotional duet

The diva of Brazilian music Alaida Costa and the famous singer Maria Bethany join their voices in a thrilling interpretation of Ave Maria no Moroa classic immortalized by Dalva de Oliveira. This special collaboration is part of what promises to be the next album from the São Paulo singer a milestone in preserving the history of Brazilian popular music.

Creating this album as a tribute to Dalva de Oliveira has always been a big dream for Alaíde Costa. For the artist, the moment is a moment of deep emotion: “Dalva has always been a great inspiration to me and being able to record this album is the fulfillment of a dream I’ve had for many years. Bethânia’s presence on this song is a gift I will never forget. This is a tribute from the bottom of my heart.”

The recording took place at the Biscoito Fino studio in Rio de Janeiro on October 12, the Day of Our Lady of Aparecida, patroness of Brazil, which gives even more special meaning to this interpretation. Accompanied by guitarist João Camarero, Alaíde and Bethânia bring a deep and intimate reading of the classic, merging their trajectories in a song that promises to be one of the highlights of the album, which was produced by Thiago Marques Luiz and launch is planned for 2025.
