Make “super silky” scrambled eggs without a pan in a minute – the “fastest” recipe for one

Whether you like scrambled eggs, poached or fried, eggs make a delicious breakfast or even dinner.

However, if you have quite a few, washing the pans might not be the easiest, so why not try cooking them in the microwave?

This recipe from BBC Good Food has over 20 five-star reviews, with many claiming it’s their favourite.

The recipe note said: “They said it couldn’t be done. This is the quickest, easiest and cleanest way to make scrambled eggs for one.

It requires only a few ingredients and produces super fluffy recipes comparable to those cooked in a pan.

Ingredients:

Two free range eggs

Splash some milk

A pinch of salt and ground pepper

To serve:

One or two slices of bread, toasted

Salted butter, for spreading

Method:

Break the eggs into a microwavable bowl and season before whisking well and until combined.

Simply microwave for 30 seconds and then stir with a fork. If necessary, microwave again in 10-second increments until almost set.

It is important to remember that the eggs will still cook a little when they are removed from the microwave.

Stir when they come out of the microwave and let them sit on their sides for 30 seconds.

Butter your toast and pour the egg on top and enjoy perfect eggs that cook in a minute.

If you like “super silky” eggs, add a splash of milk or cream to your eggs before putting them in the microwave.

Microwaves vary, so check them after 30 seconds to make sure they don’t overcook.
