Maikop Secretary Draws Attention to Guest Houses and Campsites

EcoCenter specialists continue to work with owners of guesthouses who ignore the requirements of the law on solid waste management.

In the villages of Kamennomostsky and Dakhovskaya in the Maikop district, 20 new contracts for waste removal services were signed. It turned out that the owners of boarding houses and tourist centres were hiding more than 50 m3 of waste. Now the removal operator will take care of this matter: specialists included the houses in the plan and also adjusted the routes of garbage trucks.

The director of the Adygea branch of EcoCenter LLC, Nalbiy Aliberdov, noted that some owners of guest houses do not consider it necessary to declare to the registrar the amount of garbage generated by their hotel guests. At the same time, enterprising businessmen put out garbage bags in time so that special teams can remove them along with the waste of the population. It is logical that in such a situation garbage trucks are full and crews have to make additional trips. This is suffered not only by the operator, but also by local residents.

We previously reported that the press service of the regional operator told AiF Adygea that more and more residents are choosing electronic receipts to pay for MSW management services. Currently, almost 8 thousand residents of the Republic of Armenia receive receipts electronically.
