President Lula left aside the convoy in which the National Socialist Party candidate for mayor of São Paulo was riding, Guilherme Boulos. The event took place on Saturday the 28th in the Socorro area, south of the capital, São Paulo. The Workers’ Party member canceled his trip to rest at Palacio da Alvorada.
Lula arrived in Brasilia the day before yesterday, after spending three days at the United Nations General Assembly meetings held in New York. Tomorrow, the Labor Party member will head to Mexico to attend the inauguration of new President Claudia Sheinbaum.
Lula must address bilateral issues, such as the environment, climate challenges, trade relations, and gender issues.
The Labor Party member will also participate in the conclusion of the Mexico-Brazil Forum. 400 businessmen are expected to attend, including 150 Brazilians. There should be teams on investments, food security, food exploration and new production and industry chains.
After the event, Lula went to attend a dinner held by the Mexican government for heads of state, at the Mexico City Museum.
