Actress Dalljiet Kaur, who has been actively documenting her troubled relationship with estranged husband, Kenyan businessman Nikhil Patel, shared a new post on Instagram sharing candid photos of her ‘Take 2’ tattoo. Dalljiet Kaur started the post with these words: “Take 2. A tattoo that represented the power to fall in love again. The power to trust again. The power to leave the country and dress all in love and the hope of having a family, me and Jaydon missed so much after 9 years of being lost in the fantasy of starting a family and all that I was told to believe.”
The actor explained that “Take 2” also represented him taking a second chance in life. “Take 2 was the opportunity I gave myself to call someone my husband. For my son to feel what it would feel like to have a father,” she wrote, adding, “Now I know there was no such thing as faith and loyalty, love and respect, togetherness and commitment Everything was all about numbers from the start, and loyalty was never on the table, so the switch happened quickly, he wrote.
Dalljiet Kaur wrote that she is open to suggestions for a new tattoo redesign. “Now I know that when I was told ‘we’re going to fix this’ the replacement was already being fixed too. To all those demanding my tattoo be redesigned. Yes, I’m going to do it. Come up with some good ideas, we can do something fun and creative so the healing can finally begin. I’m waiting looking forward to some fun ideas,” she wrote.

Dalljiet Kaur and Nikhil Patel got married in March 2023 and moved to Nikhil’s home in Kenya. In February this year, Dalljiet returned to India with her son Jaydon. Soon after, the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted several posts, sparking rumors of their split. Dalljiet had even hinted about marital problems on social media by sharing posts about extramarital affairs. Nikhil later confirmed their split in an interview with ETimes. He filed an FIR against Nikhil Patel and confirmed the news by sharing a letter of thanks to the Mumbai Police.
Dalljiet Kaur was previously married to actress Shalin Bhanot and they divorced in 2016. They are co-parents with their son Jaydon. Nikhil Patel also has two daughters from his previous marriage.
