Anushka Sharma is the latest celebrity to join the docu-series fan club Angry young men. The actor, who is now in London, shared a still from the series on his Instagram stories and wrote: “Lots of history but also wisdom in this documentary series.” Series Angry young men revolves around the professional camaraderie and personal life of legendary screenwriter duo Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan. The documentary follows the path of the film industry of the past year, the film industry and the dynamics of script writing. Salman Khan, Farah Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and many other celebrities made special appearances in the series.
Angry young men is produced by Salman Khan Films, Excel Media and Entertainment and Tiger Baby with Salman Khan along with Salma Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti and directed by Namrata Rao.
In his review for NDTV, film critic Saibal Chatterjee wrote, “Angry Young Men is a story that gallops along nicely to form an important, engaging and well-crafted chronicle of the film industry and society at the front and center. , a dramatic new dawn.” He added: “Underlying the story of Salim-Javed is the friendship between two men looking for work in Bombay who find each other, a creative partnership that rewrote the ground rules for Mumbai’s film writers, and the process of breaking up and moving on without regrets or guilt.”
Meanwhile, Anushka shared pictures of the kirtan and tagged Krishna Das in her posts. The couple had also attended Krishna Das’s kirtan in London last year. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married on 11 December 2017. They are parents to two children – Vamika and Akaay.
