Lorraine Kelly lost 1.5 stone following a ‘realistic’ lifestyle change

TV presenter Lorraine Kelly has been honest about her journey towards a healthier lifestyle in recent years.

Lorraine started her weight loss journey after being unhappy with her appearance as a result of gaining weight. She decided to join Weight Watchers and has since served as a brand ambassador.

By making small changes to her lifestyle and diet, Lorraine managed to lose almost two stone and dropped two dress sizes.

Speaking about her plans to maintain a healthier lifestyle, Lorraine criticized fad diets and encouraged her followers to focus on sustainable lifestyle changes.

She explained: “I think it’s crazy to suddenly say in January, ‘I’m going to go for a 10-mile run’ or go on a stupid, crazy diet because they don’t work,” she told The. Sovereign. “We know diets don’t work, you lose weight but you put it all back on because it’s not sustainable.”

He continued: “It’s great to have goals, but make them realistic. Because so many people towards the end [January] are just like, ‘Oh, forget it,’ and it’s sad.”

“The WW program has helped me create healthy habits and stick to them. The app helps me track what I eat, how much sleep and exercise I do, make sure I drink enough water and gives me lots of delicious recipes to cook (or at least try haha !).

“I feel happier and healthier and love sharing my experiences with the WW community.”

While Lorraine stressed the importance of making healthier changes, she also emphasized the need to “give yourself a haircut every now and then” to enjoy life.

She didn’t hold back in expressing her gratitude to the WW community online, stating: “One of the big things for me has also been the community. Social media gets a really bad name, but with the app and the fact that so many of us are starting this together, sharing experiences and tips and lifting each other up is really, really good.”

She added her thoughts on the power of support, noting, “I think it’s all about supporting each other these days. We all just want to be as healthy and happy as we can be.”
