The Aachen Regional Court sentenced a 60-year-old man to life imprisonment for the murder of his daughter’s boyfriend. The court explained that the defendant absolutely wanted to prevent the relationship. The Turk ambushed his compatriot on Durin Street on Boxing Day 2023 and treacherously killed him with six shots. The 33-year-old was injured in the chest and neck. He fell to the ground after the first shot. The man, who was 1.92 meters tall and weighed 106 kilograms, bled to death and choked on his own blood.
