LFU wants the body to negotiate international rights and betting rights for 2025

In a market that will be closed with the agency in charge of negotiating the broadcasting rights for Serie B, Liga Forte União (LFU) is also following the same path for the commercialization of international and betting rights for the matches of the bloc’s clubs for the Brazilian Championship from 2025.

With the current number of affiliates, LFU will be able to offer a package of 228 games to overseas markets.

For the overseas market, Forte União’s objective is for these assets to be the responsibility of an agency with proven international experience, so that it can enter the strong football and betting market. IMG, Infront and 1190 Sports emerged as options. In fact, 1190 Sports has already acquired these assets between 2020 and 2023, when the tournament will be held in more than 170 countries and 13 languages, with an estimated audience of 650 million people.

For the Brazilian market, LiveMode is responsible for the LFU broadcast agreement with Record and YouTube, which will transfer these rights to CazéTV, for a package of 38 matches, one per round, in the Brasileirão. The agreement runs from 2025 to 2027.

Liga Forte União consists of Corinthians, Internacional, Cruzeiro, Fluminense, Vasco, Athletico-PR, Atlético-GO Botafogo, Fortaleza, Cuiabá, Criciúma, Juventude, Goiás, Sport, Ceará, Avaí, Chapecoense, Coritiba, CRB, Vila Nova , Londrina , Tombense, Figueirense, CSA and Opera-PR.
