Among the main destinations, the largest increase in average tour prices, year-on-year, occurred in the Canary Islands – by PLN 334, while price increases were slightly lower in the case of Greece and Bulgaria – by PLN 280 and PLN 160. However, prices for tours to Turkey and Egypt fell – by PLN 106 and PLN 23 – the authors of the analysis report.
In less frequented destinations, the largest annual price increases were recorded in Italy, Albania, mainland Spain and Malta – by PLN 993,825,633,538. Prices for trips to Mallorca increased slightly – by PLN 268. Trips to Tunisia, Portugal and Cyprus became cheaper – by PLN 88, 50 and 41.
Large variation in price changes for September holidays
A comparison of average tour prices in September this year showed that Grecos, Rainbow and Anex had lower prices than a year ago by PLN 360, PLN 280 and PLN 260. Average prices at other travel agencies were either higher by about PLN 60 (Exim Tours) or higher by almost PLN 1,400.
In the number of current lowest travel prices, i.e. first or second place in the case of 30 summer destinations in three hotel categories, Traveldata experts again took first place with 53 offers, Corala Travel took second place with 47 offers, and TUI Poland took third place with 40 offers.
Most of the cheapest trips to Egypt had Coral Travel (7) and Itaka (5), to Greece Grecos (11), Itaka (8) and Arco-Íris (6), to the Canary Islands TUI Poland (9) and Itaka (7),
to Turkey Itaka and Coral Travel (6 each), to Tunisia Coral Travel (5) and Itaka (3), one to Bulgaria Exim Tours (3 offers).
