After the second weekend of the Sidecar Motocross World Championship, Tim Prümmer and Rodolphe Lebreton are almost in sixth place. Team MSC Kleinhau finished a tough weekend in Rudersberg (near Stuttgart) in sixth place. He is also almost certain of the overall standings ahead of the final race in La Colla, Italy this weekend. With a 36-point lead in seventh place, Team Kleinhauer would have to drop out completely to slip in the overall standings. In fact, any planned attack up top is hopeless. Britons Bret Wilkinson/Joe Millard, in fifth place, extended their lead to a whopping 43 points with their win in Rudersberg.

Tim Prümmer evaluated the result on Rudersberg, saying: “Sixth place is fine. This is not my preferred route. So we are happy.” There are few opportunities for overtaking on this course. This aggravated the problems that the Kleinhauer team had in the first race, as the start was a complete failure and the number 17 team was the last to come out of the gate. Tim Prümmer and Rodolphe Lebreton gained 21 places in a strong race to finish ninth.

The second race started better and the Kleinhauer team took the lead and held on to it. They finished in 7th place. This meant a 6th place finish, as the gap between the two races for the other teams was huge.
