Kia closes sponsorship of Brazilian Futsal Championship and increases prize money to R$ 385 thousand

A Brazilian Futsal Confederation (CBFS) yes Sports Center announced, this Wednesday (18), a partnership with Kia Brazilwho is the official assembler of Brazilian Futsal Championship for the 2024 season.

The automaker will offer a Kia Stonic Hybrid 0km, worth R$135,000, to the winning team. The vehicle adds to the R$250,000 cash prize, which has already been announced for the winner, totaling R$385,000 to be distributed among the winning team.

A total prize pool of R$560,000 will be distributed. Second place will receive R$150,000; third will receive R$70,000; and fourth, with R$30 thousand. In addition, the best player selected will be awarded R$60,000, distributed among the coach, goalkeeper, regulars, pivot, right winger and left winger.

“The support of a global brand like Kia makes a huge contribution to futsal, ensuring more visibility and infrastructure for the development of the sport. Kia’s trust in CBFS and SportsHub shows the prestige of futsal in the national and international sports scene. In addition, this collaboration will allow joint actions to promote the sport, benefiting both athletes and fans,” said Marcos Antonio Madeira, president of CBFS.

In a statement sent to the press, Kia Brasil informed that this partnership helps strengthen its relationship with the sport, promoting futsal throughout the country and providing more structured and valuable competitions.

“Kia has a long history of involvement in sports around the world. The brand sponsors major events, such as the FIFA World Cup, the Australian Open and, in Brazil, the Rio Open. We will continue to invest in sport, because we believe in its power to unite communities and change lives. This history of support reinforces our commitment to the development of the various modalities,” stressed Gustavo Gandini, Kia Brazil operations director.
