Lee Tae Geun, a former member of K-pop group Naughty Boys Club, died on September 4 after a two-year battle with the disease, which began after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. His burial took place on August 5. In 2022, it was reported that Lee Tae Geun had suffered side effects after being vaccinated. At the time, an acquaintance of hers shared a message on an online forum, explaining: “Although she had an underlying medical condition, she was living happily after having the twins. I heard she was in intensive care after receiving her third dose of the vaccine and I’m posting this because she is in desperate need of blood.”
The singer reportedly started experiencing symptoms such as headache, vomiting and dizziness just three hours after receiving the vaccine. A subsequent CT scan showed a possible cerebral hemorrhage. At the time, his wife said, “His wife said at the time, “The doctor explained that subarachnoid hemorrhage is usually caused by trauma, but in my husband’s case, the origin of the bleeding was unknown and there was no clear treatment plan. It’s frustrating that they can’t explain the causal link between the vaccine and these symptoms.”
She added: “Because of the severe headaches, he was sweating every two days, his whole body was stiff, his fingers and wrists were twisting, and his eyeballs were rolling. These symptoms lasted for 10 minutes. My husband’s consciousness is becoming more and more blurred. , and they just give him painkillers, sedatives and Tylenol.”
