Juventus closed its financials for the 2023-24 season with a loss of €199.2 million. The club suffered sporting and financial consequences because it was unable to participate in European club competitions last season.

This figure represents an increase of 75.5 million euros over the previous year’s loss of 123.7 million euros. The Italian club was not present in the European championships last season, after it was accused of accounting fraud and manipulating the results. According to Juventus, this penalty resulted in a loss of nearly €200 million for the year.

Ticket sales and sponsorship revenues were also directly affected by the lack of participation in UEFA competitions. Furthermore, revenues in the 12 months (until June 30, 2024) also showed a 22.3% decline compared to the same period in 2023.

Despite the loss, Juventus expects a better financial picture for next year, with the club returning to the Champions League. In addition, the team is present in the Italian League, Italian Cup, Italian Super Cup and Club World Cup.
