The third song from Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR’s Devara is out now and it’s a dance number in all its glory. Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor will share the silver screen for the first time. Titled Daavudi, the song features Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor dancing their hearts out to the fast-paced beats of the song. The song seemingly celebrates joy and love as the pair take to the main stage. Known for her dancing skills, Janhvi Kapoor is seen in perfect sync with her co-star Jr NTR. The song is penned by Varadaraj Chikkaballapura and sung by Nakash Aziz and Akasa. Music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Sharing the song, Janhvi Kapoor wrote, “Here’s a #Daavudi Video Song to keep you banging on the big screens.” Look:
Earlier, two songs were released from the film – Chuttama and Fear Song. Devara stars Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko in lead roles. Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, the film has cinematography by Rathnavelu ISC, production designer Sabu Cyril and editing by Sreekar Prasad. It is scheduled to arrive in theaters on September 27, 2024.
The new release date of the film was announced in June this year. Karan Johar, who shares the Hindi version of the film, shared the update and wrote, “Get ready for an early arrival for an epic showdown with an unforgiving storm! Man of Masses Jr NTR’s #Devara – in theaters on 27th September 2024.” Look:
Speaking about her character Devara earlier this year, Janhvi Kapoor told news agency ANI, “My character is very entertaining. I had fun on the set because the way those people do their work with love, the way they do it, the passion with which they do their work , their stories are so beautiful. They present each story convincingly, their films have a different temperament, passion and attitude,” he said. Jr NTR teamed up with Koratala Siva for a film after Janatha Garage.
