Jamie Oliver’s Crispy Garlic Chicken requires just five ingredients and takes less than 15 minutes to make from scratch.

This is the perfect recipe to make during the week when you want something comforting for dinner without the fuss.

Jamie said on his website: “Very simple to put together, this is a great, quick way to get really good, crispy shredded chicken, and I’ve added garlic for extra flavour.

“Grinding the chicken both before adding crumbs and sticking makes it easier, softens the meat and speeds up cooking even more. “

Method

First, place the chicken breast fillets between two large pieces of baking paper. Then hit them with the bottom of a frying pan or with a rolling pin to flatten them.

Tear the bread into pieces and put it in a food processor, mince the garlic and add that too.

Mix the bread and garlic together until you get a fine breadcrumb, then pour the breadcrumbs over the chicken.

Cover the coated chickens with parchment paper once more and crumble them into the meat.

Put the frying pan on medium heat and fry the chicken for three minutes on each side until it is crispy, golden brown and completely cooked.

Squeeze the lemon over the fennel leaves. When the chicken is cooked, slice it and put it on a plate next to the lemon rocket.
