Bahian Singer Ivete Sangalo participate in FantasticThis week (22). In an interview with Coutinho forwardHe reminisced about the beginning of his career while still at Banda Eva, and commented on the praise he received. Mary Bethany.
“A very strong voice and very interpreted, pleasant, with joy, with peaks and I fell in love. And I performed it in the show I did here in Rio and I really said: this girl is going to conquer the world. There is no other way, a good mouth”, says Bethânia.
“I had thought so, but if Bethânia gives her consent, then I really agree. And that is very important, because Bethânia is our Goddess of Brazilian music”, said Ivete.
‘Music is a very efficient collagen’
Ivete is 52 years old and has an impressive energy. “Without a doubt, being born in Bahia was a touch, a great blow, because Bahia gave me everything, including the energy that I bring from there,” he said.
“Music is a very efficient collagen. My skin tone can be taken away from me, some movements too, but the emotion I have with music will never go away,” she added. Ivete, in 2024, will complete 30 years of her career.
