According to the Israeli military, rockets were fired from Lebanon towards northern Israel again. The Israeli army announced last night that about ten projectiles had been identified as being fired from Lebanon towards Israeli territory. Most of them were intercepted. Earlier in the evening, the Israeli air force said it had struck about 110 Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon in a series of strikes, including operational rocket launch pads and “terrorist infrastructure.” About 400 targets had been struck since the afternoon.

Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari said in the evening that “extensive strikes were carried out” in southern Lebanon after Hezbollah prepared to fire into Israeli territory. In light of the escalation, the armed forces imposed increased restrictions on people in the northern part of the country.
