The Israeli army launched a massive attack on Hezbollah militia positions overnight in the face of ongoing shelling from Lebanon. The army said in the evening that around 400 targets had been hit since the afternoon, including operational rocket launch sites and “terrorist infrastructure” in several areas of southern Lebanon. According to Israeli military reports, dozens of projectiles were fired from Lebanon towards northern Israel throughout the day. There were initially no reports of injuries on either side of the national border.

According to the military, warning sirens sounded again overnight in northern Israel. The army will continue its operations to weaken Hezbollah’s capabilities, the Israeli military said earlier. Initially, the Indonesian Air Force said it had struck about 290 targets in Lebanon since the afternoon. In the past few hours, about 110 targets have been struck in “another series of attacks,” the army announced in the evening. In light of the escalating conflict with Hezbollah, the Israeli military announced increased restrictions for people in northern Israel.
