Iran fired a barrage of ballistic missiles at Israel on Tuesday, sparking concern across the country. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard said that Iran fired missiles at Israeli territory in response to the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Hani, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, and Iranian General Abbas Nilforoushan.
Israel threatens Iran with retaliation
The Israeli army, in turn, said that it shot down a “large portion” of the 180 missiles. According to Israeli media, one person was killed in Jericho in the West Bank, a Palestinian worker who was injured by rocket shrapnel.
